The Lymphatic System - part of your immune system

Gives your body Oxygen

The lymphatic system  is one of the partners of the immune system.  The other partners are the lymph nodes, (destroy antigens), bone marrow, spleen (blood purification), tonsils and the thymus (responsible for the maturation and release of T-cells).

More than 70% of the body is comprised of water. The fluids of the cell, exchange food and oxygen and produce waste products. Fluids filled with toxic waste are picked up by tiny lymphatic capillaries, which help to pull dead cells, toxins, trapped proteins, and poisons into the lymph vessels. They are then broken down by the lymph nodes and glands throughout the body. Unlike the arterial and venus systems, the lymphatic system has no pump-like unit to push along the lymphatic fluids.

The lymphatic system depends on exercise or deep breathing to move the fluids (trapped plasma proteins- TPP) filled with waste to their main garbage dumps in the left and right subclavian veins, as well as, to the filters (lymph nodes) along the lymphatic channels.

THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM IS A PURIFICATION SYSTEM
THAT KEEPS THE CELLS OF THE BODY FREE OF DISEASE

If our lymphatic system is not functioning at a peak level, the trapped plasma proteins (TPP) may stagnate as a fluid or form clusters, that attract sodium ions, which upset the sodium-potassium balance inside the cell, thus opening the door to potential dis-ease of the body.
