Physical Movement Exercises

Physical Movement Exercises is one of the five components needed, in order to obtain a balanced life. There are many different types and degrees of exercise and movement. Here, we have briefly profiled four natural exercises - Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi and Walking. These exercises connect the body, mind, and spirit together, creating a state of balance and harmony within.

Yoga seeks to enhance the "prana" or life force, that resides in the body. It helps to achieve a state of balance and harmony between body and mind.

Posture, body mechanics, and correct breathing are the fundamental tenets of Pilates, which incorporates teachings about spinal flexibility, physical education, and the law of natural exercise.

Tai Chi helps to maintain good Chi energy with gentle fluid movements, making it a perfect form of exercise for everyone. Many studies, have been conducted in the benefits of Tai Chi, producing positive results.

Walking can give you the intense workout you need, to help benefit your body. Research has shown that regular walking, 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week, can help, in 18 important ways. At one time, these forms of natural exercises had been only practiced by specific Eastern and Western cultures. Today, they have gained worldwide acceptance in many cultures. As with all forms of physical exercise, you should first consult your doctor before you start a program.

Rebound exercise has been found to be the most efficient method of lymphatic circulation stimulation because it yields the greatest change in pressure for the least muscular effort.
