Ginger Chicken

Simple, tasteful are the words that I use to describe this Liver Loving Recipe.

Serves 2

Ingredients

350g (13 ounces) chicken breast, sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed (optional)
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup water
1 carrot, sliced into matchsticks
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup raw cashew pieces
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Method

Cook the chicken, garlic and ginger in the oil and lemon in a wok or frying pan until the chicken is golden.
Add the remaining ingredients and cook until the carrot has softened slightly.
Serve

I fired this one in my juicer, I received a book of juicing recipes with my juicer.
Who would ever think that apples and radishes would go together; a bit tart and tangy; however refreshing. Enjoyable.

Immune Strengthening Juice

Ingredients

1/2 lemon (include the peel if it is organic)
2 sticks celery
1 carrot
2 red radishes
1/4 red onion
1 green apple

Method

Pass all ingredients through a juicer and drink.
